Jupiter ends its transit of Sagittarius and enters the sign of Capricorn,
which means the energy associated with Capricorn is likely to become much
more prevalent in our lives during the forthcoming year 19 December 2007
to 5 January 2009, and whereas 2007 was a year for Sagittarians, 2008 is
definitely a year for Capricorns!
Capricorn is an Earth sign, and by its earthy nature, very much linked to our physical and material life and the structures and organisation that are needed to ensure material well-being. Its symbol is the Goat and if you think of the hardy mountain goat who, through its careful surefootedness, steadily makes its way to the top of the mountain, despite how craggy and difficult the going might be, this is an apt metaphor for Capricorn. Capricorn is an ambitious sign, wanting to be at the top, and achieves this by being cautious, practical and organised, by tackling any obstacles in its path, and by having the perseverance to see things through.
