Calling all Lightworkers

by Joanna Bristow-Watkins

It’s easy to get disheartened over the sorry state of affairs - world pollution, ecological disaster, global warming, starvation, hatred, racial tension, war, political intrigue; our media make us feel powerless, but is this really the case?

If, as many spiritual leaders believe, we create our own reality, then by implication we must take collective responsibility for this international chaos - surely even more reason to despair.

However, the recent release of The Secret DVD, other publications outlining the ancient Law of Attraction and further self-empowerment techniques paint a very different picture. The emotional state that we vibrate out (via our thoughts and actions) is reflected back with an empathetic response from our environment. Apparently it’s pure physics if an F# tuning fork is struck in a room full of other tuning forks, all other F# forks will reverberate in sympathy.

Perhaps then, if we can create global disasters, we can also collectively ‘uncreate’.

According to David Hawkins (author of Power Versus Force), if the thoughts and emotions are emanating from more spiritually developed individuals, then the universal response is faster and more intense. Thus the more enlightened we become, the stronger our influence. Furthermore, this positive intent can be amplified exponentially when like-minded people get together in focused groups, where the total output is much greater than the sum of the parts. This is especially true if the group meditation takes place at energy vortices or other sacred locations.

Sacred sites are traditionally locations where the veil separating higher vibrational dimensions is thin. Often they are energy ‘hotspots’ positioned on junctions of ley-lines or electro-magnetic force fields. Whilst our ancient forefathers were more adept at detecting these, some of us can still sense a tingling sensation which undoubtedly fosters a ‘feelgood factor’, particularly when tied-in with the opening of new galactic portals; dates when we all experience heightened energy vibrations. These ley-lines and energy hotspots form the meridians and chakra centres of the Earth and by focussing the intent for planetary healing from these, our efforts are amplified to create an entire global energy shift.

By the time you read this article, we will have already experienced a number of these portals linked to numerologically significant dates, planetary alignments or co-ordinated global healing events. In less than four weeks we’ve had the Summer Solstice (21st June), the Blue Moon (Saturday 30th June), the 7:7:7 portal (7th July ’07) and the international ‘fire the grid’ initiative set up by Shelley Young who, together with her four year old son, miraculously escaped from drowning (she was apparently not breathing for over 15 minutes and her son for twice that long).

We will also have created our own sacred portal at our Healing Show Garden at the Hampton Court Flower Festival (Show Garden G/W 19 as shown on the Energies in Action website). My sister, Fiona Stephenson, is a garden designer and was inspired by the book An Angel For Every Day (written by my other sister Angela McGerr) using the ancient symbol of the Vesica Piscis.  Since the dawn of civilisation, the Vesica Piscis has been a symbol of love and reconciliation, balance and harmony. As the circumferences of two circles intersect, they create ‘common ground’ where they overlap.

Working with the ancient concept of Natural Theology, that man is an extension of his environment, the garden aims to encourage visitors to reflect and contemplate man's severance from Earth Energies and recapture unity with nature and thereby ourselves; both individually and collectively.

An accompanying research project is being led by Dr Murray Griffin and his team of Psychologists from the University of Essex who are measuring visitor reactions in the garden to assess the therapeutic effect of outdoor spaces.  Results should be in by the end of the summer - it's all very exciting.

How can we build on all this? I’ve long had a vision of an active network of caring spiritual individuals with a global mission, working together to promote love, light and harmony via sacred site networks. Perhaps you would like to co-ordinate such a group in your area?

Harmony Journeys is designed to nurture this; a core of dedicated Lightworkers who will become like a family, travelling together to unfold energies from sacred locations and connect to far distant memories; exchanging keys and codes between participants and the energetic nodes of the divine landscapes, opening portals of information within. Synchronicities are common; we have found ourselves performing ancient ceremonies with Shaman at Machu Picchu and tribal elders in Egypt, as well as numerous unexpected treasures presented throughout every journey.
