“Meditation
can improve the immune system and aid positive thinking, scientists
believe.
The
study, which will appear in the forthcoming issue of the journal
Psychosomatic Medicine, found that volunteers who meditated for a short
time every week showed lower anxiety levels than those who did not.
They
also had higher levels of antibodies in their blood, suggesting they
would be more able to fight off infection”
